CERTIFICATIONS

For height safety installations to remain compliant, they must be inspected, tested and certified periodically in accordance with the relevant Australian standards, laws and codes. The list of installations that require certification includes ladders, anchors, harnesses, inertia reels, davit arms & static lines. GDP Height Access provides a specialised inspection, testing and re-certification service for fall prevention and industrial rope access systems of all types. During this service, GDP Height Access’s qualified height safety experts inspect (and where required, test) each component in the system to ensure it remains safe for continued use. Upon completion of the inspection, GDP Height Access will provide a certificate of compliance and a detailed inspection report. Any deformation or deterioration of the system, non-compliance, maintenance requirements and recommended improvements will be fully detailed.

DESIGN CONSULTANCY 

GDP Height Access can design a full array of height safety and façade access systems. As an end user of systems all over Australia, we know what is required to deliver functional, practical & complaint access solutions. We can work with your design or construction team to provide a full design solution. We also regularly involve input from our other business units, such a GDP Façade Care, thus ensuring systems are developed that will reduce cleaning times, yet ensure safe access. Our capabilities extend to building maintenance units, davits, fixed rails, anchor points, walkways, ladders and anchor systems.

SITE COMPLIANCE AUDITS

Falls from height are a major cause of workplace injuries. Therefore, identifying fall risks and ensuring your facility is compliant is critical.  GDP Height Access staff are trained to conduct audits of all types of installations. An audit is the first step in identifying what action needs to occur so that you meet your obligations under the many Australian Standards, codes, laws and legislation. Once it’s evident if you site has any short comings we can provide we can provide advice and costings on rectification works.
